Tráiler de Gundam: Réquiem por la Venganza destaca la guerra de robots gigantes y la fecha de lanzamiento en SDCC 2024.

O filme animado “Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance”, parte da série Um-Ano A Guerra, estará disponível na Netflix em outubro. Produzido com Unreal Engine 5, o filme trará uma nova história à popular franquia.

Foi divulgado um novo trailer durante um painel na San Diego Comic-Con 2024, exibindo confrontos entre GMs, Zakus e, é claro, o icônico Gundam (ou um deles, pelo menos), além de anunciar a data de lançamento para 17 de outubro. O vídeo resgata a essência de guerra que marcou o anime original de 1979, apresentando uma atmosfera semelhante à de 08th MS Team e outras narrativas situadas no contexto do Universal Century.

O trailer também revelou a data de estreia, informando que estará disponível na Netflix a partir de 17 de outubro.

O Requiem for Vengeance manterá muitas características semelhantes a Gundam, mas terá diferenças em relação às outras histórias do mesmo universo, sendo o primeiro a ser animado em CG desde 2004. A direção é de Erasmus Brosdau e o roteiro é de Gavin Hignight, com a animação a cargo de Safehouse, sendo composto por seis episódios.
